I can't recommend Spitting Pig enough! They catered our wedding, and the hog roast was amazing. Everyone loved the halloumi skewers as well, which was a thoughtful option for vegetarians. Wonderful team and service.

Spitting Pig recently catered for our corporate event for 120 people. We had a Hog Roast and additional burgers and kebabs; the food was exceptional and extremely well received by employees and guests. The caterers arrived on time, and were extremely professional and friendly. This is the first time we have used this company and will certainly be using them again for any future events, the communication from initial enquiry to the day of the event was amazing. Spitting Pig were absolutely fantastic at our wedding, the staff were brilliant and the food was unbelievable! Thank you so much for such a wonderful catering experience. Right from the very first enquiry I made, communicating was easy and responsive, with no fuss, and no requirements were too much trouble. The service we received on the day was fantastic, with the presentation staff chatting to guests throughout the service, as for most, it was their first time. So many guests commented saying how the catering made the party so much more special, with the hog roast being not only the food, but a feature and a spectacle. Finally, the food itself was professional prepared and tasted amazing definitely not a complaint that it’s pork for the next few days to enjoy the leftovers!

We had spitting pig Nottingham serve BBQ for our wedding. Claire our catering manager was perfect making sure I felt reassured everything would run smoothly. Darren on the day was amazing. All of our guests were complimenting our food and asking for their details, and loved the laid back relaxed feeling. All the staff were friendly and the food itself was delicious, exactly what we had imagined. A bonus mention to the way the staff and venue communicated with each other on the day, I barely even noticed them turn up and start setting up, which is ideal on your wedding day when during that time you’re needed for photos and want to relax and have a drink speaking to your guests. Just wish we could do it all again!

Hi, Just wanted to pass on some feedback about our event last night

Darren and his staff member (didn’t catch her name) arrived at the time that we expected, and were really efficient with the setup, which looked really professional, and the fairy lights was a nice festive touch which went well with our Winter Wonderland themed Christmas party.

We had chosen Turkey & Pork with accommodations for Gluten Free and Vegetarian. The food was excellent quality, served on time, and really hot. There was plenty of food for the numbers we catered for, with enough for seconds for quite a few beer filled lads! It was nicely presented, and all the serving areas were clean and tidy.

Darren was really friendly and enthusiastic and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again! Will recommend to anyone that asks!

Hi Britt, Our event was a great success.  Thirty members of our wider family got together to celebrate our  golden wedding anniversary and the Spitting Pig catering made it special.  The two ladies looking after us couldn’t do enough for us and the food was excellent, fresh and tasty.  It felt very professional and we’re still enjoying the left overs! Hello Britt, We had a wonderful family get together on Sunday. The food was delicious - especially the salads - and beautifully presented and served. Darren and Layla were friendly but professional. Everything was clean and covered after being served. Then after the food Darren and Layla removed every scrap of rubbish. All we were left with was the plated up and covered left overs. All my family guests were full of compliments. I would certainly recommend your company. So a big thank you!

Please find below our review: We are so so pleased that we chose The Spitting Pig Co to cater our wedding. From choosing the menu, to the last bite on the day, Claire and the Spitting Pig team were friendly and ensured we had the perfect food for our wedding day! We chose a selection of canapes to impress our Dutch (and English guests!) and they did not disappoint, a personal highlight being the selection of sausages which were to die for! For the main, we went with a hog roast and beef dinner which was delicious and again we have received so many compliments from our guests who found it so tasty! Hello! Please pass on our thanks to the admin staff who bent over backwards to provide the best catering for our wedding! We were undecided on a lot of the food options having to cater for so many people, but they were so patient and happy to provide plenty of options. The final menu was spot on! We had a great afternoon/evening, the food was absolutely delicious, well presented, loads of choice, served fantastic and we couldn’t fault a thing. Both James and his son were brilliant, I didn’t have to lift a finger and you’d never know they’d been, everything cleaned up and taken away after. Spitting Pig catered my mum’s retirement party and what a night! The alfresco menu was the perfect choice for the occasion with all of our family and friends loving the antipasti boards.
