At this time of year, our Hog Roast Costock Festive Menu is one of the popular ways to do this, with an amazing main course featuring a great amount of lovely food as well as a luscious dessert. You get to choose your main from either our signature food of a hog roast centrepiece that’s served with crackling carved straight off a perfectly-cooked free-range hog, as well as our homemade duo of sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce, or flame-cooked turkeys that come with fresh cranberry sauce and stuffing. Whichever you choose, you also get to dine on no less than seven sides too, including a seasonal vegetable medley of glazed carrots and sprouts, green beans, peas, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets and roasted potatoes with fresh rosemary and garlic, all smothered in our homemade gravy too.
If there’s any room left after such a sumptuous feast, we then serve a traditional dessert of tasty mince pies, served with warm brandy cream. We understand that you may be inviting guests on special diets, and this menu comes with both a vegan and a vegetarian alternative if needed, though we can cater all kinds of diets if you let us know in advance. Our vegan option of BBQ pulled jackfruit in buns with slaw is a worthy substitute for our pulled pork, while vegetarians can enjoy our grilled halloumi and veg wraps, served with a Tzatziki dip and a sweet chilli sauce.
