A local corporation hired Hog Roast Fishlake to cater for their sports day this August. The company has several office branches across England, with the staff gathering altogether once or twice a year. This month, the branches were meeting for their annual summer sports day, which was set to include a variety of games and activities, as well as a big picnic catered for by Hog Roast Fishlake. Our Gourmet BBQ menu had been chosen as it includes a variety of different dishes, making it ideal for events with over 200 guests as there needs to be something for everyone to enjoy. It also tastes great on a hot summer’s day, which is ideal for an event taking place in august.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Fishlake team arrived at the venue and began setting up our catering station and marquee. In preparation for t
he 1:30 pm mealtime, we began grilling the main dishes, including succulent sausages, veggie sausages, British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. For the side dishes, we also served fresh bread rolls, homemade chips, crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes, seasonal salad dishes, and sweet potato fries. Overall, this created a varied and delicious meal, with plenty for everyone to enjoy. Our menu was a great addition to the event and was just what the staff needed to fill them with energy.
