Bella and Martin have always hoped to enjoy a traditional wedding when they get married as they wanted their special day to be timeless and classic. To make this dream a reality, they planned a church ceremony, followed by a beautiful reception at a nearby function room. The venue was set to be decorated with a beautiful floral and white theme, including plenty of elegant flower arrangements. For the catering, the couple knew that they wanted to enjoy a three-course meal and had previously enjoyed our formal dining package at a corporate event at Bella’s workplace. They loved what we had to offer so it was ideal for them to hire us to provide a similar menu for their wedding reception.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Ravenshead team arrived at the function room in the morning to prepare for the midday serving time. For the first course of the meal, we served a delicious salmon starter, which was deliciously light and tasty. Following this was the main course, which consisted of a delicious slow-roasted hog and all of the traditional trimmings. For the side dishes, we also roasted baby potatoes and seasonal vegetables to create a varied and nutritious meal. This was a hearty and comforting main course, with plenty for every guest to enjoy and more than enough for seconds. Finally, we served an elegant dessert course to accompany the wonderful wedding cake provided by the couple. The guests could choose between sticky toffee pudding and chocolate torte, accompanied by English cream and fresh berries.
