The pair are planning on getting married at a beautiful waterfront function room which features a balcony overlooking the river. Additionally, the venue includes an elegant and compact courtyard below which is the perfect area for Hog Roast Hyson Green to prepare and serve our catering. For the catering, the couple decided on a classic hog roast, with a few additional dishes to create a personalised menu for their guestlist. All of our menus can be customised to suit any event, so our team was more than happy to do what we could to create the perfect menu for this lovely spring wedding.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Hyson Green team arrived at the function room in the morning and set up our catering station in the courtyard. This was definitely one of the fancier places for our team to work in and it was the perfect backdrop for our catering station. For the menu, we began by slow-roasting the hog to perfection and ensuring that it was packed full of natural juices and flavours. Additionally, we served succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages. The mains were served in fresh bread rolls and accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the sides, we prepared homemade chips, a green leaf salad, gourmet coleslaw, and corn cobettes. Overall, our menu had plenty for the guests to enjoy and more than enough to go around.
