This December, Lily is hosting a party to celebrate her son’s first birthday. The event is set to take place at Lily’s home, where 40 family and friends are invited to enjoy the party. There will be lots of toys and activities to keep younger guests occupied, as well as a delicious catering option for the grown-ups to enjoy. For the menu, Hog Roast Nottingham has been hired to serve a classic hog roast, with plenty of delicious side dishes. Overall, this will create the perfect buffet lunch for the guests to enjoy, with more than enough to go around!
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Nottingham team arrived at Lily’s home in the morning and began to prepare the menu. We started by slow-roasting the hog, which needed around five hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, the succulent pork was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a selection of fresh salad dishes. Overall, our menu was incredibly varied and included a great selection of dishes for the guests to enjoy. It was great to be part of such a memorable event and the Hog Roast Nottingham team was grateful to have been chosen to cater for the occasion.
