It has been massive week here at Hog Roast Mountsorrel as we have been hard in prep for most of it to bring a massive corporate lunch to life for one of our biggest clients working in the UK and globally.
Away from our private party catering and our glamourous wedding dining services comes one of our most important services available to all businesses in the UK, both big and small: our corporate catering. For decades Hog Roast Mountsorrel’s corporate dining has brought valued service to local and global businesses; we have been proud to boast a vast portfolio of work spanning some of the biggest leading names across multiple industries, as well as the many local businesses here in town and around Nottingham. Both come equally valued to us and receive the same high level of commitment and passion.
But with our global clients we know that there is often so much more at stake. For one, the order numbers tend to go much higher to accommodate for bigger teams from all over, and therefore our prep work becomes all the more important. To make each event feel of the same level of high quality, regardless of guest list size or importance of the occasion, everything is just prep, prep, prep. Well this week’s massive staff lunch with the folks at Serco Ltd was one such event where prep was the name of the game. With 150 guests to cook for, Head Chef Darren made sure to have our menu set well ahead of time so that we could have the very best, most fresh meats and ingredients in place for the Thursday service. The results? Well they certainly would speak for themselves as the Serco team lined up in their droves to get more of our hog roast, more of our brilliantly slow grilled marinated chicken thighs, our grilled veg and halloumi skewers, fries, new potatoes, and gluten-free rolls.
All that prep was proven worthwhile once more. A great time had by all in the Serco team, and wonderful team had by all in the Hog Roast Mountsorrel corporate catering team too!
