At Hog Roast Nottingham, we recently had the pleasure of catering a fantastic 50th birthday celebration in Nottingham, where fifty guests gathered to enjoy great company, festive flavours, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The host chose our popular Festive Menu for the occasion, and it proved to be the perfect choice for a cosy, seasonal gathering.
Instead of our traditional hog roast, the main attraction for this event was a beautifully cooked roast turkey, prepared fresh on-site and carved for guests as they arrived. It made a wonderful centrepiece and set the tone for a proper festive feast. We also ensured that everyone was included by providing our delicious vegetarian and vegan nut roast, a hearty and flavour-packed alternative that many guests commented on and thoroughly enjoyed. To make sure dietary needs were fully covered, we included gluten free rolls so no one had to miss out.
The menu was brought to life with all the classic trimmings. Guests enjoyed rich and creamy cauliflower cheese, a colourful seasonal vegetable medley of glazed sprouts, green beans, peas, and sweet glazed carrots, and of course the ever-popular pigs in blankets. Crispy roasted potatoes and fluffy Yorkshire puddings completed the spread, all served with generous ladles of our warm, flavourful gravy. The plates came back clean, always the best compliment for our team!
To match the relaxed, rustic feel of the celebration, we served everything using our stylish wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery. Not only did it look fantastic with the festive theme, but it also provided an eco-friendly touch that many guests appreciated.
