This Saturday, Hog Roast Swadlincote catered for a Diamond Wedding Anniversary and served up our Southern Slow Roast Menu. This included flavourful BBQ pork butt, Cajun spiced whole roasted chickens and Texan 24 hour beef brisket carved into melt in your mouth slices of soft meat and a smoky charred exterior. As for the sides, there was a mixture of sweet potato and traditional fries, a tangy Greek feta salas and a homemade gourmet coleslaw. For the vegetarian guests, we grilled some vegetable and halloumi skewers, colourful and bursting with flavour. Each meal was served with a choice of soft white, brown or gluten free bread buns to tie each tasty component into one satisfying bite.
We were set up in the lovely green gardens of Grangewood Hall which acted as the perfect backdrop for our canopy, and lots of photo opportunities for friends and family. Our slow roasted southern style menu was just right to mark such a momentous occasion in such a beautiful place. The couple and guests absolutely loved the meals, one even saying it was the “best brisket” she had ever had!
