At Hog Roast Retford we see it as a privilege of our job that we get to work with so many businesses again and again. Our specialist corporate catering can be employed in all kinds of way, and so when you work with a business for a while, you start to become involved in many of the milestones of their business. Whether that is seeing a local upstart from its opening launch right up until its first 5 years of business and the upward acceleration they have undergone, or joining a longstanding business later in their tenure and watching them continue to go from strength to strength. Our corporate catering sees it all at Hog Roast Retford..
One such privilege to be a part of this September was our time with Acorn Labels in the middle of the month. Acorn Labels hit an impressive milestone this year by celebrating 30 years of continued business. To mark the occasion the right way, they of course came to their friends at Hog Roast Retford. We are of a similar age to Acorn Labels, so we knew that to celebrate the big three zero we would need to pull out all the stops.
Acorn Labels certainly did so, at least. Darren and Claire of the Hog Roast Retford team arrived to a packed event for the whole Acorn Labels family with a DJ present, as well as incredible saxophone player, and many inflatables to chuck around and have fun with. It was a day for the whole family of Acorn Labels, including kids of long-time staff members, and our dining helped them along nicely. We had our gourmet hog roast menu out on full display along with our brilliantly presented antipasti grazing tables and platters. That meant the Acorn Labels had all sorts to choose from: gourmet burgers, sausages, juicy chicken and veg skewers, ribs, our namesake hog roast (of course), and cuts of the finest Italian meats and cheeses along with artisanal breads and delicious dipping oils.
For a fun packed day, our dining went down a storm and was just what was needed to appropriately celebrate the 30 years of Acorn Labels impressive business. The Hog Roast Retford team only hopes to be there again for the next 30 now!
