We’re often led to believe that age 50 is something to be terrified of as we get closer to it through life, but actually, when it comes, the reality we often find is that it’s not so bad at all and in fact just gives cause for plenty more celebration!
That appeared to be the mindset of our favourite set of Hog Roast Beeston customers from last month. We were informed that Scott was turning 50, so his friends and family wanted to surprise him with a good birthday bash with catering from our team. They knew that Scott would be more the type to take his 50th in stride, and that certainly seemed to be the case as we saw it too. After the initial shock of the successfully pulled of surprise, Scott was delighted to see much of his friends and family round at the house to celebrate his 50th birthday. That surprise and delight turned even more so when he also saw the great hulking hog roast awaiting him, along with full plates of Hog Roast Beeston’s best golden crackling, homemade sage and onion stuffing, rolls and wraps, and much more!
With all that food, you can hardly not enjoy turning 50. As good an excuse as any to celebrate the ostensible halfway point in your life, why not fire into pulled pork roll after pulled pork roll, topped off with the added crunch and texture of our perfect bubbling crackling. As if such an afternoon celebrating out in the garden with friends and family for your birthday couldn’t get any better, the sun also decided to gift Scott with one last surprise too by making its rare appearance over Beeston . Hog roast rolls are already great, but they come all the better when you’ve got a sunny garden party, too!
The whole Hog Roast Beeston team had a great time with the surprise party. There was such a life and joy to the entire occasion, and Scott’s group were a very fun bunch to be around. We’d like to wish Scott well again for his 50th! Until the next time!
