One of the great things about being a wedding caterer is that you get to spend a large portion of your job talking explicitly about weddings! Weddings are just fun to chat about, especially when you are doing it with the bride and groom that are putting it on. Even when the planning is long and often stressful, you still can’t help but see the excitement burning away inside each couple as they piece together their special day bit by bit.
At Hog Roast Nottinghamshire, we get to enjoy this privilege at least once a week, but when it comes to wedding shows we then get to enjoy it up to a couple hundred times in a single day!
That was the case this past weekend as the Hog Roast Nottinghamshire team headed out to the Mansfield Civic Centre for the excellently put together Love Wedding Shows wedding show! Such wedding fairs are always a fun day out for both our team and the guests that come on by to see us and the many vendors in attendance. The fun for us is in getting to meet so many happy couples and do what we love most: chat weddings! For guests, there is also plenty of fun to be had with all sorts of giveaway competitions, often live music, drinks and food. If ever you have a spare weekend, wedding planning or not, it’s a great spot to come and spend a cheap afternoon!
If you do so then you should most certainly come and find the Hog Roast Nottinghamshire team to chat. As we understand at, along with this past weekend’s show in Mansfield, Love Wedding Shows are also running at least another in Nottingham and Hinkley later in the month/into April. If the experience of this past weekend is anything to go by, then these shows will be a great time. Already we have managed to speak to tonnes of guests that may be booking their wedding catering in with us very soon after further discussions to come! We can’t wait for those, and we can’t wait for any future wedding shows that the Hog Roast Nottinghamshire team are invited out to soon!
