This December, Hog Roast Dinnington was hired to provide catering for a retirement party that was happening locally. The party was organised by Tracey, who had contacted our catering manager James to discuss the menu needed for the event. Our catering needed to be suitable for 100 guests, including a separate meal that was suitable for children. Providing catering that is suitable for every guest is always our priority, so we decided that our Classic Hog Roast menu with an additional family-friendly dish was an ideal choice for the occasion.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Dinnington team arrived at Aston Hall Cricket Club to prepare the menu for the 20:30 mealtime. We began by roasting the hog, ensuring that it was cooked to perfection and packed full of natural juices. For meat-free guests, we also prepared BBQ pulled jackfruit. The two main dishes were served in bread rolls or a gluten-free alternative.
For the younger guests, we also provided hot dogs served in finger rolls, accompanied by a variety of sauces. This ensured that there was something for everyone to enjoy and plenty of food to go around the guests!
We served our menu on disposable plates, as this was the ideal level of formality for this occasion. Everyone had a great time and it was wonderful to be a part of such a fun atmosphere.
