Your wedding day is your dream day. It is the day that many of us will think and dream about for most of our lives before it finally comes. And, when it does, because it is your special day you get to live out all of the fairytales that you have been dreaming about all this time. For our lovely newlyweds of this past weekend, Luke and Kate, that fairytale wedding day came with rare breed hog roasts, hundreds of friends and family members, and the most fairytale ending of all: carriages to carry the wedding party out.
What more fairytale can you get in dining than a whole hog roast provided by the Hog Roast Worksop team? A hog roast, in all of its golden, crisp, whole roasted glory is the kind of meal you would expect to see in a fairytale banquet. The kind of food that a king or a fairy princess may bring to the town or community to close out the happily ever after ending. So, then, of course it was the number one choice for Kate and Luke to bring to their wedding dining. With Hog Roast Worksop, you don’t even have to go to a land far far away for your fairytale wedding! Our catering manager Darren is the fairy godfather of our roast; working with Kate and Luke he was able to conjure up a magical menu filled to the brim with quality and deliciousness, ensuring that the happily ever after ending would most certainly come for this wedding!
Setting ourselves up outside the excellent Lady Margaret Hall in Worksop, the Hog Roast Worksop team worked around the clock to get our hog roast cooked up in time for the main meal. With accompaniments of fresh crackling, sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, mixed salad, slaw, and gluten-free rolls, this was the kind of menu worthy of the day! If that wasn’t enough, we also had copious amounts of cakes and desserts available for afterward!
We may have not got to ride out on a horse drawn carriage like the rest of the wedding party, but for Hog Roast Worksop it was a magical wedding event all the same!
