As we prepare for winter, Hog Roast Mansfield’s catering manager James was contacted by a lovely couple to enquire about our wedding catering options. The couple has been planning a winter wedding since their 2019 proposal and has decided that this is the year to tie the knot! For the catering, they were looking for something seasonal and cosy, which would warm the guests on a cold December day. Because of this, we suggested that our classic wedding catering menu would be an ideal choice, paired with some tasty and comforting dishes.
For this wedding, we have planned to provide a delicious hog roast for the main course as this is one of the tastiest comfort meals that Hog Roast Mansfield can provide. Alongside the hog, we will prepare a variety of sides, including seasonal vegetables, homemade chips, and sage and onion stuffing. For vegetarian guests, we will serve BBQ pulled jackfruit in fresh bread rolls, or a gluten-free alternative.
To finish the menu, guests can enjoy a delicious slice of wedding cake provided by the couple, served on Hog Roast Mansfield crockery.
