Last week we helped Jean and David celebrate their silver wedding anniversary. The pair had hired a venue to host a party for their family and friends. Our team set up our gazebos outside the hall for our expert chef to cook and prepare all of the delights that the Alfresco menu entails. As the guests arrived, antipasti platters were served to tables by our team of experienced waiting staff.
The main course and desserts were served buffet-style, allowing guests the freedom to come and go as they pleased. For the main dish, our chef whole roasted a free-range pig, served with homemade sage and onion stuffing and topped with apple sauce. The chosen meat-free alternative was pulled BBQ jackfruit, presented in a bun and topped with a crunchy coleslaw. The main dishes were served with a choice of freshly made salads and buttered new potatoes. To finish off the main event, dessert was served where guests had the choice between Tarte Au Carton and Chocolate Profiteroles.
